Gavin possesses a strong operations and management skill set having worked from shop floor through senior management whilst completing studies in Sciences, Business and Business Administration. Gavin has worked in and managed businesses within Packaging, Pet Food, Canned Food, Fresh cuts, Beverages, Fruit & Vegetable Processing. He brings a strong focus on financial control, general management and subject matter expertise to the Ezy Chef group including driving all aspects of R&D.
Praveen is a seasoned professional that has work in Business Process Re-engineering for almost three decades. Having worked for large multi nationals and built a successful process engineering business, Praveen brings a well rounded business process improvement experience to the Operations role. Praveen has been with Ezy Chef since 2015.
Roger has culinary skills and worked as a Chef for most of his working career. He has worked at various levels and managed large kitchens in Australia and overseas. He has a passionate approach and easy-going nature, can hold a conversation with Chefs at various levels and draws from a network of cooking experts across a range of industries. Roger has been with Ezy Chef since 2008 and is our longest serving employee.
Madhu is a seasoned Quality professional who drives “Right First Time Every Time” approach within the Group. She is a determined and clear focused team member that brings balance to the management team. Madhu has been with Ezy Chef since 2022.
Andrea is the backbone of the suite of administrative functions within Ezy Chef and has been with the business for over 10 years.
Emerson is an experienced operations professional who manages all aspects of first conversion, production and warehousing. He is action oriented in making things happen on the shop floor. Emerson has been with Ezy Chef since the start of 2022.
EzyChef was founded by a team of directors with over 130 years of combined experience in the food industry. Dedicated to using 100% Australian-grown produce to create high-quality Puree and Mash products that are both wonderful and easy to use. The goal is to be the supplier of choice, consistently delivering products that exceed our customers’ expectations. We pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards in manufacturing, handling, storage, and delivery of safe and wholesome foods. EzyChef is HACCP, Organic, Halal, and SQF certified, reflecting our commitment to quality and safety. Our team participates in ongoing training and awareness programs aligned with the Food Standards Code and the principles of HACCP. Continuous improvement is at the core of our operations. We encourage open communication channels within our team to enhance all procedures in our work environment, ensuring we remain a trusted partner in the food industry.
Ezy Foods was established in Australia in 2008, driven by a commitment to enhance food offerings in the Aged Care and Hospital sectors. Our directors collaborated with Food Science Australia (CSIRO) to create shelf-stable, texture-modified vegetables. This initial research, along with a market acceptance study, inspired us to pursue product commercialization and establish a dedicated food manufacturing facility in Victoria, Australia. Starting from our modest factory in Laverton North, EzyChef directors, who collectively boast over 130 years of experience in the food industry, expanded our expertise to develop a diverse range of 100% Australian and Pure Vegetable Purees. We have since broadened our product line to include value-added options such as Soups and Stocks, Fresh Cuts, Blended Vegetables, Freeze-Dried Powders, Sauces, Fruit Coulis, and Toppings.
As a proud Australian company, most of our processing equipment was custom-designed and built locally. To accommodate our growth since our founding, we relocated to a purpose-built manufacturing facility in Broadmeadows in 2017.
