EzyChef has grown into a trusted provider for the Health Sector across Australia. Our team is made up of dedicated and qualified staff who are trained to produce texture-modified foods to the highest standards.
Every member of our organisation is aligned with our strong and passionate PURPOSE: “Making a positive difference in people’s lives through texture modified food solutions.” This purpose guides everything we do, from product development to day-to-day operations.
Our commitment also extends to providing the Health Sector with safe, consistent, and reliable IDDSI Level 3, 4, and 5 products that support patient care and nutritional wellbeing.




Gavin possesses a strong operations and management skill set having worked from shop floor through senior management whilst completing studies in Sciences, Business and Business Administration. Gavin has worked in and managed businesses within Packaging, Pet Food, Canned Food, Fresh cuts, Beverages, Fruit & Vegetable Processing. He brings a strong focus on financial control, general management and subject matter expertise to the Ezy Chef group including driving all aspects of R&D.
Praveen is a seasoned professional that has work in Business Process Re-engineering for almost three decades. Having worked for large multi nationals and built a successful process engineering business, Praveen brings a well rounded business process improvement experience to the Operations role. Praveen has been with Ezy Chef since 2015.
Roger has culinary skills and worked as a Chef for most of his working career. He has worked at various levels and managed large kitchens in Australia and overseas. He has a passionate approach and easy-going nature, can hold a conversation with Chefs at various levels and draws from a network of cooking experts across a range of industries. Roger has been with Ezy Chef since 2008 and is our longest serving employee.
Madhu is a seasoned Quality professional who drives “Right First Time Every Time” approach within the Group. She is a determined and clear focused team member that brings balance to the management team. Madhu has been with Ezy Chef since 2022.
Andrea is the backbone of the suite of administrative functions within Ezy Chef and has been with the business for over 10 years.
Emerson is an experienced operations professional who manages all aspects of first conversion, production and warehousing. He is action oriented in making things happen on the shop floor. Emerson has been with Ezy Chef since the start of 2022.
EzyChef was founded by directors who collectively bring over 130 years of experience in the food industry. From the beginning, our mission has been to use 100% Australian-grown produce to create high-quality Puree and Mash products that are both nutritious and easy for our customers to use. Our long-term goal has always been to be the supplier of choice, delivering products that consistently meet and exceed expectations.
We take pride in maintaining the highest standards across all stages of manufacturing, handling, storage, and delivery. EzyChef is HACCP, Organic, Halal, and SQF certified, demonstrating our strong commitment to food safety, quality, and compliance. Our team regularly participates in training and awareness programs aligned with the Food Standards Code and HACCP principles. This ensures that every product leaving our facility reflects the care, consistency, and professionalism our customers rely on.
Continuous improvement remains central to our operations. We encourage open communication across all departments to enhance internal processes, strengthen our food safety culture, and ensure we remain a reliable partner within the industry.
EzyFoods was established in Australia in 2008 with a clear objective to improve food offerings within the Aged Care and Hospital sectors. Early collaboration with Food Science Australia (CSIRO) played a key role in developing shelf-stable, texture-modified vegetables. Supported by research and market acceptance studies, this innovation fuelled our expansion into full-scale product commercialisation and the establishment of a dedicated manufacturing facility in Victoria.
From our modest factory in Laverton North, our directors expanded the business into a diverse range of 100% Australian, pure vegetable purees. Over time, we broadened our product line to include Soups and Stocks, Fresh Cuts, Blended Vegetables, Freeze-Dried Powders, Sauces, Fruit Coulis, and Toppings meeting the evolving needs of healthcare providers and foodservice professionals.
As a proudly Australian company, much of our processing equipment was custom-designed and built locally. To support our continued growth, we relocated to a purpose-built facility in Broadmeadows in 2017, where we continue to innovate and deliver solutions that support the health and wellbeing of Australians nationwide.
