Expanding Capacity and Capability

Ezy Chef moved to a dedicated processing 4666 m2 facility in 2017 to ensure they could meet the demand from customers and the evolving food industry landscape all while maintaining adherence to the highest level of safety and sustainability best practices.

The move allowed Ezy Chef to expand into new areas of food manufacturing and processing with a wider range of packaging options. Customers who required more customised options, could easily be catered for with new technology and systems enabling greater efficiency and flexibility.

Labelling

Ezy Chef products can be packed into Cartons, Drums or Pallecons. The outside packaging is labelled with Product ID, Product Description, Batch Code and Best Before Dates. Ezy Chef can also label the packaging based on the customer specific traceability needs.

Batch Traceability

All Ezy Chef products are tracked using a custom built “Track and Trace System” called IPS.

Custom Packaging

Ezy Chef can cater for customer specific contract packing needs using existing customer supplied packaging.

Delivered a load of Kale 🥬 here and the forklift driver let me in early and was able to get unloaded before peak hour traffic started. In my book that’s worth 5 stars alone.
